    Dart Frog Viv....

So since we're going to the reptile show on sunday and I made the mistake of telling my pregnant wife that she could get dart frogs if she wanted (before looking up the husbandry requirements) I'm up at 2:30 finishing up the viv.

I've been getting so frustrated. Not so much due to the fact that it's annoying, which it is, because I love building things. I just wish I had more time to get everything up and running, and know everything I needed in advance and such instead of building it at 2:30 today so that it can run for a day until we bring them home on sunday.

We'll see what happens though, either way, as frustrated as I'm getting, call me a glutton for punishment, but I've already been looking at my 29 gallon and thinking....

    Re: Dart Frog Viv....

getting frustrated isn't worth it, when I had multiple frog vivs I found putting them together almost as much fun as watching the frogs interact, but thats just me. Either way just think of how great it will be to watch all those little froggies bouncin' around.

    Re: Dart Frog Viv....

I was told to let new dart frog setups settle for a month before putting the frogs in. The 20 gal for my tincts. was done for a month before I bought them, but I added a few new plants a few weeks ago, so I have them in a big Tupperware enclosure until the tank settles and any fertilizer is completely used up.

Setting these tanks up is the best part. I am addicted to browsing through tropical plants for vivs. I have several plants I bought and ordered that I'm growing out to get clones for my vivariums. Basically, don't rush it. They are fine in a temporary home until you have the perfect viv for them.
What are these mojavas I keep hearing so much about?
