    My new Storri arrived...

...and they are some good looking monitors

The red on these two is amazing....nothing like my other three storri. Just thought I would share a few shots I snapped before setting in their trough. Pardon the damp bucket.....since I was home waiting for the package, I was cleaning up everything.

Looks like 1.1 to me....maybe...who knows....LMAO...I am just pleased to have them.....

.....and here is a neat shot that I took of one from my other group....just thought I would throw it in there...

I purchased these two from Glades Herp. They were the last two available.

There are a couple of people that are waiting for eggs to hatch now. Shoot me a PM and I will get you the contact info.

Nice Daniel! They look like a couple nice and different additions to your group. Do you know their history at all? Can't wait to see some eggs outta those guys!

These two have been kept at Glades Herp since 2005 when they were hatchlings. They were part of a bigger group that has been sold bit by bit. That is about it. They were each housed individually, so there is no confirmed sex. The larger one is definately a male though.....I am really hoping the smaller one is a female.....because if these two are both males, then that will probably leave me with a 4.1 count of v. storri....ha ha...that just means I will have to pick up another group to get some females.

Thanks Marshall. Yep....five storri. ha ha....Storr's monitors hold nothing in costs when compared to kingorum or caudos.....they had some caudos on sale a while back ($3500 for a trio)....and kingorum prices are higher. Gillens were around $750 each.....ha ha...

For dwarf monitors.....Storri seem to run around $350-$450 each.....so they are still one of the cheap ones.

But hey....I payed a few grand for these dwarf monitors but it only cost me $18 a week to feed them and takes up 1/8 of the room they are in. That isn't that bad considering some larger monitors that are being sold for $50 each will require a room size enclosure and cost a fortune to feed....

Dwarf monitors are apartment friendly Storri(and just about any other dwarf monitor) can be housed in enclosures roughly 4'x2'x2'......nothing near the size you would need for a bosc or water.
