Makin' Money

Well I was trying to figure out how to earn some more money to help me out when I move out. Then it hit me. My grandmother had mentioned that her dogs and my grandfather's dogs all need to be walked every so often. So I proposed that I walk the dogs every other day and she pay me for it. She agreed to pay me $20 a week to walk all four dogs. I'll have money for more snakes and lizards!

A dog walking service can often be quite in demand for busy working folks so you might think about expanding that. If you have a strong stomach there are people that make quite a good dollar doing weekly poop patrol for client's yards (or a big job for spring cleanup).

Thanks. I'm not sure I want to expand it. I guess we'll see if I have the time. I used to have a dog walking business with my brother when we were younger and we were making pretty good money. $5 a dog per walk. We were easily pulling in $20-$40 a week. Then suddenly, my brother's friend wants in and of course, we're like "sure". Big mistake. While he did bring us in more clients, he literally took over the business, walking all the dogs himself and keeping the money. We ended up leaving the business and we were in elementary school at the time.
