    New Bumble bees

I picked up a pair of juvi bumble bee dart frogs yesterday. They are in a temporary enclosure while their naturalistic habitat settles. $80 for the frogs, $90 for the plants, wood, moss, substrate, etc., so far. I predict that I just adopted a new addictive and costly hobby.
What are these mojavas I keep hearing so much about?

    Re: New Bumble bees

I took some pics today. I bought the frogs Sunday afternoon, and by Sunday Evening I had the whole vivarium set up and a fluorescent light hood made. I just have to stain the hood and add a small exhaust fan to keep the heat down. I can't wait until the plants start to grow in. I have a few more orchids and bromiliads on their way along with some pillow moss. Here is the set up and the frogs in their temp. enclosure.

they really are addictive, I used to keep a lot of frogs before I went to school, the darts were my favorites (only slightly over the retf) but theyre just great. Good luck with them

I guess we'll find out They are supposed to be really easy once you have a proper setup. Just be prepaired to do some serious fruit fly culturing. I am already planning my next vivarium setup for a pair of either black and green Costa Ricans or Azurias. I'm just waiting until I get back from Mexico and have the fruit fly culturing down.

Does anyone know the legality of bringing back petri dishes or baggies with clippings or ground moss from the Mayan Riviera in Mexico? Would I be okay doing that, or no way?

That's what I hear, and that's my hopes for all of my hobbies. I'm also very broke right now, and I'm leaving for mexico in 2 weeks. I just can't ever seem to stop myself from impulse purchases when I get excited about something.
