Our newest Wildlife Find!

I didn't get to see it, but Monica caught in on film. While raking up some pine needles, Monica saw a Red-eared Slider from our pond acting strange on land. Well come to find out, she was laying eggs. Here are some pics that Monica took.
p.s. Does anybody know how long slider eggs incubate for, as I would like to possibly catch some pics of the babies?

Oh that is SO cool!! I wish I knew the answer to your question...but hopefully someone else does. I think it'd be amazing to see wild hatchlings emerging!!

If you have an extra hovabator/incubator sitting around, why not dig up the eggs and incubate them yourself? They would stand a much better chance of hatching in your care than in a hole in the ground....lmao...unless you keep racoons in your house Just a thought.
