Here is my horse!
Hi! I'm new around this forum, but I wanted to introduce my mare Jazzy. She can be a little crazy sometimes, but she's a sweetie! What do you think?

Nice horse, Rachel! There are a lot of horse enthusiasts around here, too.
How old is she?

Re: Here is my horse!
She's a 9 year old breeding stock paint/rabicano. She's just learning how to bend at the pole (she wasn't ridden too much before I bought her). Whoever owned her before made her really anxious about certain things, so I am working out the kinks. But she's a very fun horse!

Beautiful horse you got there! I have a special place in my heart for bay horses. My favorite color in a horse.

hahah
Yeah, well, I'm never getting a mare again! My next horse will be a GELDING. Mares have attitude like you wouldn't believe! The funny thing is that we are synchronized. We both get grumpy at that special time of the month together...makes for fun rides, let me tell you...
I make her out to be so bad, but she's really a very smart, awesome mare

Nice horse. Welcome to the site. I'm hoping to get another one. My paint died a while back and boy do I miss him. Horses are always welcome here too!!

Re: Here is my horse!
Nice mare! I am partial to solid paints myself.. yours has what I call the "too-intelligent/mischevious mare look." to her They try to look all cute and pathetic, but inside that mind, they already have your demeanor and intentions pegged and are just hoping for a treat..
I don't know though.. some geldings can be a pill too.. especially ones that were allowed to be studs for a few years before being snipped! My friend has a gelding who still thinks he is a stud, and man, if you were a stud, he hates you and wants to rip your head off, and if you were a mare, he'd love to breed you, lol! But he is fine in-hand and under saddle; he was trained well, but there's no stopping his instincts if you turn him out with mares or allow him to see the other studs through a window..
Here's a thread on my girls, so I don't hijack your thread with pics..
