It seems like he's being foolish. Something tells me that if you're doing things right you shouldn't have to jerk your hand back to avoid getting tagged.

Those are both beautiful snakes though.

Re: crazy guy with a gabby

I subscribed to this guys channel on YouTube back when this thread started. I have now been watching his new videos as they come out and I can say I think despite a bit of a goofy personality he is a master keeper.

He has been working with hots for over two decades and is very well known and respected. It is easy to judge a room by its clutter but this man seems to really know what he is doing. He has my respect,

that's Al Coritz, he's an awsome guy and he makes those videos for herpetoculturists like us. So what if he let's his gabby go around the room a bit it's under his supervision! He's been doin this for about 30 years + and he's only been bitten once. The man knows what he's doing. He's not putting these out there for shock value, he's not pissin off the snake so he can make great videos he makes them to show us what he does. He's very "no nonsense" when it comes to venomous and he's definatley not stupid with them.

If anyone wants to calmly talk to Al I can let you know where he is a regular member. Yes Al is another good friend of mine.

Al, has some very rare snakes and man he gets some of them non eaters eating like champs.

Trust me he has cleaned up the clutter. He is a very very good keeper.

I would be leary of doing business with al though. It seems that he has a bit of a double standard in regaurds to who he'll do business with then tell you not to do the same and it seems he has a bit of a problem telling the truth when his "methods" of aquisition are questioned.

It's all on fauna on the BOI if anyone wants more info.

I, in fact, as well as several others, am still waiting on him to clear up a few details over there.

I'm sure he keeps his animals well, I'm just not so sure he's all that great of a guy.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

Not the best methods of handling snakes like that, but hey he's no ordinary human being He seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to his snakes.
