    My male Bredl's python

Here he is, all settled into his new digs. We've named him Jika Jika, which will hopefully keep him inside his cage ("jika jika" is a term for a "jail within a jail"). He just had to have an Aussie term as a name and that's what my husband came up with..I like it

After thoroughly exploring his cage, and taking a couple shots at my hand, I offered him a nice hopper mouse. He was MORE than happy to grab it - I was happy I picked up some tongs at the show!

Here he is, settled into his "tree" to watch the world go by and digest:

Once the female gets done shedding, I'll have a few pics of her. I hope you all enjoyed seeing Jika!

I did, this last weekend. The female is quite blue right now so I'm waiting for her to shed to get a picture.

I always love it when people like Nick wonder what possesed them to sell a snake. This little guy is going to be quite the looker when he gets bigger!
