    Panndor's Very First Feeding Pics

After a few weeks and a shed, Panndor finally decided to eat for me. Ivy, you're right, he is a ferocious eater! It didn't take a second... I picked the mouse out of the box and immediately he was ready to strike -- I had to drop the mouse! LOL. After he finished he began looking around the tub for more so I think we'll get him another mouse in a few days. Anyway here's a couple pictures... I wish I could take better ones. I have an $800 Canon and have no clue how to use it properly.

    Hi,

    nice pics.

Might be a better idea to let him go the whole week before trying him again but then offering him 2 one straight after the other?

That way his body gets to rest between meals.

That's awesome. I've been thinking about him now that my others are coming around and starting to feed as well. I would wait until next feeding and feed two. One after the other has been consumed ofcourse. After a few successful attempts you can try small rats again. Let me know.

OMG... I must be over feeding Nag by a lot! Nag is way smaller than your snake, but ate a mouse way bigger yesterday... Did you knock down the prey size to encourage her to eat, or am I really over feeding Nag by A LOT?

Re: Panndor's Very First Feeding Pics

I just got Panndor a little over a month ago from a member of the forum. He was stressed out and didn't eat for about four weeks or so, and he was scared when I tried to feed him a small rat, so I decided to start back with a mouse. Until I feel comfortable offering him a rat again, I'll probably try and do two mice of this size. The rat tried to attack him and that kind of has me freaked out towards rats...
