    Re: Striker and Gwen!!!

welcome to bp.net! Those are two pretty snakes you've got there.

The only thing is, you really shouldn't have more than one snake per cage. It stresses them out and is just plain bad. (if one snake gets sick, they both do, etc)

Also your setup looks alright, but you should really get a digital thermometer with a probe, it's a lot more accurate. Those strip/dial thermometers read the temp of the glass more so than the air inside. This is the one I use in all my cages, I got it at Lowe's and it was pretty cheap:

The thermometer can read temp of both sides and can keep track of the humidity which is vital to your BP's health.

Once again welcome, look forward to talk to you on the boards!

    Re: Striker and Gwen!!!

They're both pretty, although a bit on the thin side.

As already mentioned to you - they need to be separated into their own individual enclosures, with two hides in each enclosure that are much smaller than the 1/2 log that you're offering them.

And you definitely will need a digital thermometer for both enclosures, the dial you have isn't measuring temps at ground level where the snakes spend their time.

Pretty snakes, but it already looks like one's trying to dominate the other (cuddling is really not cuddling, but domination).

    Hi!

First off, I'd like to say that I love your snake with the black mustache on its lip!

Secondly, you should check out the caresheet on ball pythons: http://www.ball-pythons.net/modules....warticle&id=59

It will explain to you the best ways to set up enclosures that each of your snakes will enjoy.
