new beardies

My dad picked up a pair of beardies at the All Ohio Show on Saturday. Welcome Calamari (male) and Indigo (female).

Indigo will be leaving for his house next weekend. Until then, she's my little poop monster.

Neither one of them accepts crickets or meal worms. They ran away from small crickets. So I got them Exo-Terra juvie dragon food. So far, they're pooping, but I haven't seen them eat anything.

Very cool dragons but try not to feed them meal worms the exoskeleton is very hard for them to break down and could eventually lead to impaction. Have fun with them they are very cool creatures.

you could try adding in really small silkworms. they just sit in one spot and sort of wave their heads a little which attracts the dragon.

cause it's suuuuuuper important to have these little ones eating well and their calcium levels need to be nice and high. really small butterworms are high in calcium although i would still dust them.
