Just got some Leos and AFTs

I just got a tank of each from a friend for free. Of the fat tails, there is a 13 yr old female, another unknown age female and an age unknown male. The leos...there are two females, and a male. One female is a tremper albino and the others are tangerines. They are around 6 yrs old. I am confused about how much they are supposed to be eating. I am giving them calcium-dusted crix and mealies. Can someone give me good feeding advice for each type?

I just got a couple of pictures of them. The other was hiding at the moment. The fat tails are definitely hiding right now. I have never had geckos, but I found out that the leos seem aggressive. The fat tails seem very docile.

    nice pics.

i keep a dish of mealworms in my leo enclosures at all times and then feed crickets every 3-4 days.

leos aren't usually aggressive unless they have never been handled at all--might that be the case with these?

you should separate the male from the females (with both the leos and the afts) so they don't breed and you wind up with lots of babies. looking at the photo of the albino leo i can see that she doesn't have enough fat reserves to be in breeding condition anyhow...

Thanks for the info! I have heard conflicting information on feeding, and needed to clear it up. The male is the one that is agressive. He has a huge head, and he bit me once. It didn't draw blood, though. No big deal!

Re: Just got some Leos and AFTs

Congrats on the new geckos, I feed adult leos/AFTs 1-2 times a week. Only dust the cricks/mealies with calcium powder with vitimain D3 in it once a week. You should also have a small dish in the cage with regular calcium powder in it,without vitimain D3 in it. Let me know if you have any other questions
