Re: My New House Snake
House snakes rock!
Jack Spirko, user name jjspirko has the following website which may have something on it: http://www.africanhousesnake.blogspot.com/
And if you are still lacking for info, try posting on cornsnakes.com forums as my friend Trevor, user name lefty_mussolini, breeds house snakes and would be happy to help. =)

Re: My New House Snake
Great Tanzanian Red Snake! They are my favorite and what I mostly breed. There is no need to sweat taking care of them, like a corn snake is a good way to put it. Really easier, give him mice of the right size, make sure he has heat and a cooler side of his viv, give him water and hides and you really can't mess up.
Bullet proff honestly.
One thing to note that is not a L. fuliginosus as most people think they are, hell I even thought that and need to fix my blog to reflect what that really is.
That snake is a Lamprophis maculatus check out this wiki article, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamprophis
That will only matter if you get a mate and breed that fellow. If you have any specific questions just ask but honestly if you just plan to keep the snake and don't want to breed it, there is not much more to say. If you have successfully kept any snake these things are a breeze.

Spammers are scum! If I had my way they would all get reincarnated as feeder mice!
