Every so often, something incredible crosses my path. Emeralds tend to be judged based on the amount of white, unless of coarse we are talking about patternless emeralds. In the case of northerns, we tend to look at white in the form of cross dorsal markings (lightning bolts) and laterals. We purchased Rica at Daytona in '04. Her mother is one of the most incredible emeralds I have ever seen and Rica seems to be on par with her.
