    frozen mice through the mail

is it common for the mail order companies to use frozen chicks as 'ice cubes' to keep the mice frozen ?

because my mice arrived this morning in a box along with like 10 chicks

Lmao. Maybe they were having a promotion, "Buy 100 mice get 10 chicks free for a limited time only"
    Which company is it?

i've never heard of that, it sounds like they might have messed up your order. When i got my rats in the mail it had a bunch of insulation, and a ton of dry ice, and the rats. I would think that a chick would defrost just as fast as a rat or mouse though.

Haha, sounds like you got a bonus with your order. I don't believe they use chicks to keep the rats froze Its normally packed with dry ice, and shipped for next day delivery.

Definitely sounds like an order mix-up to me.
