as per a special request... here's a few pics of my giant african snail and my giant african millipede! there are three millis altogether but the other two are tiny. this one is almost 4 years old and approx. 4" they grow very very very slowly.

the snail is 3" - still a baby

the snail is 'sleeping' i'm hoping she wakes up soon though. my daughter kinda forgot to care for her for a bit... so she's in my room now. as is the millipede.

Cool! Love the snail! ...hmmm....now I want one! Say, do your millies like the banana peel? I've never tried that with mine....they really dig apples,and chickpeas, but I've never tried a banana peel.....

it's our first time with a banana peel... i read they like them on the net so i thought i'd try it.

you can't have a giant african land snail... they are illegal in the USA.

well i put it in there and it immediately ran and buried itself in the new substrate LOL so i have no idea

What are your lil critters' names? My giant black is Onyx...perhaps you could help me name this one? Having a difficult time of it:

Are these the millis that eat live mice?....or is that a different species of millipede?
