    new egg pics

well this morning i went to my bd cage and my gravid female looked relly skinny. and i turned over a log and what did i find but 25 little eggs.

after she laid them. verry thin. she ate like a champ today.

here is a pic of her before she laid. verry fat.

it is a good thing i love these guys so much. because when you add up the cost of feed and electric you don’t even break even on them. hahaha. but i just keep them because they fascinate me.

just one of the reptiles we breed here at Matt Fisher Reptiles.

    Re: new egg pics

Make sure you dont change the face up position the egg was laid, more liable to die if they tip. Not saying you didn't keep them right side up but that
first pic looks like they arn't held in place real well, it looks like you know what your doing though (due to the baby pics) so im definitly not saying i know more than you. Good luck with the eggs!

    Re: new egg pics

Do you ever use lay boxes for your dragons? You will find that they eggs won't get as dehydrated if the female is put into a laybox when she is ready to drop those eggs. Just a suggestion.

Hope you get lots of beardie babies.

    Re: new egg pics

thanks. that is great advice. i aloways try my best to keep them right side up. bd eggs are real hardy i rarely lose any. the only one i lost was one that a cricket ate a hole in the top. last night.
