    Taiwan beauty Pic

Still no name for this little guy. And all the wriggling he does makes picture-taking difficult at best!

    Re: Taiwan beauty Pic

So far so good! I've had him now for about a week and a half.
He's a lot flightier and faster than the other snakes I have, so I'm always scared he's going to wriggle out of my hands and I'm gonna have to chase him down.
First time I tried to feed him, he refused,so I waited a few days, then he ate like a champ.
    Can't wait til he grows!

very beautiful little snake! I got my TB when she was already 5.5feet so never got to see her in her super-tiny stage! Dont get too used to it though, in 1-2 years time shes gunna be bigger than any adult corn snake out there! Regular handling should ensure she'l be tame throughout her life. Mine is like a kitten, fast but super tame and so friendly! Enjoy, these snakes are a pleasure to own!

Hee, thanks! I need to get more pics of lil Irwin. I have a hard time cause he's so tiny, it blurs a lot.

    Re: Taiwan beauty Pic

Mine was like that in size back in July,

    This his him now

Well, actually that is him in November (did I mention I wear a size 13.5 ring) I need to get new pics of him this week end, he is still growing and just pounded three adult mice in one set a few days ago. He is about ready to move on to rats.

Feed that little guy and keep him warm, these guys when well fed have a growth curve that will get a retic breeders attention! They are indeed very fast but not mean if you keep handling them often as they grow up.

    Re: Taiwan beauty Pic

I have bulls, pythons (JCP, and some new spotteds), Boas, Corns, House Snakes, etc etc etc. till my wife is ready to toss me out but the Taiwans are my favorite! Such personality. Sometimes I go in and Tai is studdying the top of the cage all raised up and just checking out the top. I know he is trying to figure out how to get out.

What is funny if he is not doing that just lounging or what ever he just chills but when he is in his how do I get out mode and I walk in he hides in his cave or under his log. I swear it is almost like oh damn, BUSTED!

Snake intellegence is LOW compared even to a lizard but I swear they do figure out some stuff. Asians are amoung the more aware snakes in my experience,
