Oh, so another question...and I still haven't even gotten my BP yet (soon I hope!!) Anyways, my friend has a BP that is getting close to a year old. But she is so funny! If you (lightly) run your nails down her back while she is out, she arched her back so you will scratch harder! It reminds me of a cat when she does it. She seems to really like it. We thought maybe it was just because she was closer to sheding, but she shed the other day and she still arched up to it like that. I will see if I can get any pictures of her doing it here soon. So I guess that isn't really a question but I just wanted to see what people had to say about such a strange behavior

It's normal. My beardie does it too.

My taiwan beauty snake does that too, she also stays still when I rub her chin gently...which is weird as this snake NEVER stays still!

Actually it's not strange behaviour at all. Snakes are designed with a huge number of tactile receptors all along their long body length. These receptors help a snake understand it's environment.
