7 out of 8 have switch to rats 1 is a mouser.
I feed F/T for the convinience of having the right size always available when needed.
I have ordered bulk until now, I will start breeding rodents very soon, just because I want to provide my BP with quality feeders and right now I can manage it as I only have a small BP collection I won't need to breed that many rodents.
In the future rodent breeding likely only be for hatchlings as my BP collection will grow.

    Re: rats or mice?

all of my snakes eat rats. i had one that would only eat mice when i got her, but for the sake of convenience i switched her to rats. she was easy--i just scented the rat with mouse bedding for 3-4 feedings and she was convinced. if she hadn't wanted to switch i'd have just kept her on mice though, because in the end it is more about what the snake prefers and will eat.

    Re: rats or mice?

I breed rats and mice. My BPs usually get rats, but if I don't have any (either still too big or small) they get a few adult mice.

    Re: rats or mice?

I have some snakes that eat mice but the majority eat rats ... it really doesn't matter as long as they are eating, they're good to go.
