What do you look for in a blood?

I found a local breeder to me who has some red blood pythons for sale.

I was wonder if you have one or more... what do you look for in one or what did you look for when you were looking to buy one?
Colors? Patterns? Light colors? Dark colors?

    Let me know please.

Well, what do YOU look for in a blood? What are you wanting in terms of end result (i.e. from juvenile appearance to adult appearance)?

Well so far I've narrowed it down to 3, out of like 20 of them. All are CB babies too and eating great. The three I like right now... all have stand out colors that are rich and bold.

Not yet, I'm waiting for a reply email back at the moment. Hopefully I'll get it soon.

Re: What do you look for in a blood?

I look for a healthy animal 1st and foremost thats eating well and shedding well, anything after that is personal preference IMO. Colour, temperment, attitude, and appearence is all for the eye and the acceptance of the person thinking of purchasing.

Keeping any snake can be both a rewarding and fascinating experience and picking one should be a personal choice based on your own preference and ability to care for it.

Best of luck , look forward to seeing some pics when you make that all important choice.

Re: What do you look for in a blood?

Well I've been talking back and forth with the breeder who has them most of the day. Also got some input from Kara. Tomorrow I'll be meeting with this guy and see how that goes.
