New carpet and updated bredli pics

We finally got our carpet female from Justin and Ben at Australian Addiction Reptiles, and I'm absolutely thrilled with her (thanks again guys!! ). She is from Python Pete lineage, and she is stunning and hasn't even really started her color change. I can't wait to see what she looks like next year!

Here's a shot of one of our bredli females just after shed. They are starting to lighten up a bit and I'm excited to see them start to go red.

The more Morelia I get, the more I love 'em. Now to start a jag project......

    Thanks for looking!

Nice pics Evan! Those girls are going to eat you out of house and home when compared to how the ball pythons eat Good luck with them, and especially have fun watching that jungle go through her ontogenetic changes...one of the best parts about keeping jungles in my oppinion. We are glad that she is going to be close by so that we can keep up with her as well. Should be a nice one...but only time will tell.

    Thanks guys!

Ben, she has already taken a meal very readily and seems to be settling in quite well (although she did not want to sit still for that pic ) When is that first jag clutch due to hatch?

Yeah, I think carpets are about the toughest snakes to take pics of...especially as juvies. That is good to hear that she took a meal for you, never know how some of them will act once they leave your hands. She sure didn't miss any meals while we had her.

As for the jag clutch, day 55 will be Feb. 20. You have no idea (well, actually you probably do) how stoked I am to see that clutch hatch!!! I try not to think about it because when I do it kills me to know that I still have to wait so long...but I am more than half way there now, so that is nice. Anyway, there will be plenty of pics once they start coming out!!!

She's looking good, Evan. Can't wait to see how she turns out. Keep me posted. Wish I could have made it out to your place to deliver her. I still need to see your collection.
