congrats on the new addition.
1. the paper towel should be moist, not watery--you shouldn't be able to squeeze much water out of it. change about once a week or so. in between changing you can just mist it to keep it damp.
2. males have broader heads and somewhat bulkier bodies but i don't think either tends to be larger than the other.

Good looking guy! As for adult males and females, the size is about the same. Males get slightly broader heads, but there's not much of a difference.
