question about venomous reptiles
ok , me and my So were talking earlier and he asked me about how many people on average on this forum own venomous reptiles?
so of course when I see a venonous forum, I gotta know...
1. how many of you own venomous reptiles.
2. how many do you own?
3. and whats the most common venomous reptile that is kept by folks who own them?
would truely appreciate any and all replies

Re: question about venomous reptiles
I dont keep any venomous unless you concider false water cobras venomous. Ill skip to number 3.... the most common would be hard to figure out. It will vary by every keeper. Iv talked to alot of people that keep copperheads so maybe that. But its really hard to tell. Hopfully someone with more experience will reply.

1- i do and a few others. this forum isnt that active
2- tons come in and out. currently 16 but just sold 2 bitis gabonica and am getting in a few rhinos so it varies
3- id say either copperhead or monacled cobra
also- there is no "best" hot. however a copperis less destructive venom-wise so if you are not experienced with hots a copper would be much less intimidating as opposed to a cobra

You keep some albino monacled cobras right? The 2 I like ALOT are the sidewinders and the az-black..... awesome snakes I think.

Re: question about venomous reptiles
well thanks for the replies
I never would have expected copperheads to be mentioned...I would have thought rattlers more than anything else. but I suppose since the copperhead is fairly docile and wont bite unless extremely provoked it would be an ok venonous snake to have.

Re: question about venomous reptiles
I'd love to have a rhino viper one day, but I know I don't have enough experience for that yet.
