    Updated pics of Oscar

Evening all, haven't been on in a while so i thought i would post some new pics of Oscar. His training will be starting in the spring, which i can't wait for as he is starting to become a coiled spring, all energy and intelligence but no outlet. He is however, receiving the basic training that all dogs require but he is bursting to get out and do some real work

He is totally adorable!!!!!! I love seeing border collies but it makes me a little sad too. I had a female border/chow mix that looked all border. Her name was Gypsy Rose Lee. She was the love of my life. I lost her to a tumor inside her spleen about 3 years ago.

Yes, I understand the excess energy problem!!!!! Gypsy used to herd the coffee table!! One thing we used to do that helped a little is take the pup to the park, one of you take the pup and start walking, the other stays. Wait until you get a good distance, then have the other person call the pup. If you keep puppy running between the two of you for a while it will wear him out. For a short time anyway.

Love Oscar Reminds me of the smooth coat collie I had as a kid. Talk about energy. She chased every bike that went by the house LOL My parents ended up giving her to a cattle owner. Best of luck with Oscars training!
