    Is this normal

    its the first time that my snake sheds since i have it and the lower part of his body the skin came off easily and around his neck its been a week now and he still didnt shed the upper part .. i lowered the humidity , i soaked him twice and hes still not shedding
    I would like to know what to do in theise situations and why hes not shedding

    Get a pillowcase. Dampen it with warm water. Stick the snake in pillowcase. Tie off pillow case and let snakes "move around" in there for a little while.

    We need more info

    1. what kind of tank is he in
    2. what are your temps and your humidity level
    3. have you tried soaking your snake in luke warm water
    4. have you read the care sheet on this website

    I like to use a hide with damp(not soaked) moss amd put it in the warm side so he stays in it for a day or more and increase humidity. What can also be helpful is unscented lotion I've used it on a rescue with a retained eyecap and it worked great!

    Make a shed box. Just take like an old vivarium, 10 gal or something, and fill it up 1/3 of warm soaked paper towels. Let him move around in that for awhile and you should be ok. It's worked every time ive used it.
