nah, macro as in got really close for finer detail. I'm using an olympus c8080 prosumer 8MP camera. The lens features: 5x opt. zoom 28 - 140 mm equiv. F 2.4 - 3.5, and you can use a "super-macro" mode for taking shots 50mm from the subject. No depth of field though! It's a discontinued model, but you can still get one every so often on ebay.
Yeah, little Petunia was not impressed with my shutterbug behaviour during her meal... went right back at it when I left though
