    Amber the INSIDE tort...

So I got some excellent advice before from here on housing my Spur Thigh this winter... I purchased a Dog-Loo w, flappy door and an ex lg. heat admiter.. It's staying at lows 70ish? So I'm happy! Well this is what is happening... She's been roaming out to graze during the day, and then not making it back to her "Torti-Gloo"... Every night it's find the Tort! lol
Well long-short... I spoke to someone that is very knowledgeable with herps this morning *thanks again * for some advice on this roaming from the heat issue... and he was concerned that she might set up for infection if she keeps cooling down... SO! After all that, She's now inside! (And loving it)!!!!

So, here is Amber... the inside Tort!

    Enjoy!

    Hey Laooda,
I've been doing the same thing with my two sulcattas for two years now. I got the large igloo and rigged a cermic heat emitter in it with hay as bedding. They have been doing just fine even with the cold weather we have been having. They all come out in the late morning to thaw out and eat. Both of mine are 4 yrs old and weigh about 15lbs each.

    Hey Houston! lol

I think this is whats been happening... I think she's going out to graze, but not returning... Getting chilled, then falling to sleep....

Do yours return on their own???
    And thanks for the in-put!!!
