    The new Additions

Just got everyone settled in, so I though I'd share with the group.

Disclaimer: Hides were removed to allow for pictures.
I know the pics are huge, and I'm working on that. I just couldn't wait!!!

Thread moved for you and pictures changed to links since they were so large. Nice snakes!

    Re: The new Additions

Here is the tri-plex where they are. I built them myself, and literaly have about $30.00 in each one, including the lights. THey are 12(or18)hx24wx48l, and are split up into 2 or three sections. When I have everything in them its actually quite cosy.

Were all their hides removed for the picture? Must be a bear to keep heat and humidity up. Good luck with them!

    Re: The new Additions

    Here is my criticism:

That is a cool setup ya got there, but I can see plenty nose rub in your future and real bad humidity. Replace it with some type of plexiglass tops so you can see, keep their noses beautiful, and help with sheds.

How was ordering from MWreptiles? I was interested in one of his 100% het albino males but decided I would rather go to Tim Bailey. It gave me an excuse to check out some hawt snakes setups.
    lots of snakes

    Re: The new Additions

I have tops for all three (I made two other enclosures, same size, different partitions. THey are removable to adjust for different needs), mainly because I have a friend who is a contractor and gave me two huge sheets. Has anyone priced plexiglass lately? Its $ 70.00 for a 72"x 36" sheet!!! In the spring I will have a snake room set up and will move to a rack system then. ANd I did remove the hides for pictures. And it is 1/2" hardwear cloth, so it's not as potentially abrasive as screen would be.
