Re: Pics from the F.I.R.E. Expo DU warning
Ooooooooo, I didn't think of aspen.
I got crickets and superworms from Armstrong's crickets(gotta love them!) and a wire lid for a 55 gallon tank(it's for RATS! Calm down people!! Haha!) and it's a hinged one! Got that from GlassCages and it was ONLY $10!!! I love shows.
I'm totally stealing the idea from someone about putting the worms in one of the plastic drawers from Wal-mart. I'll be picking up wheat bran tomorrow. I already have some superworms that turned to beetles. The new superworms will go into a bigger bin, since there is 3000 in the one box! WOW!
I got to chat with Neil Golli and Micheal Cole as well!
I had to go sunday, I work on saturdays. Had 6 dogs! Yeah baaybee!!! Money is always good!
I also ran into the chap who sold me the spinner spider female, and he agreed to work out a satifactory resolution. The wonders of showing up in person I guess. I'll keep everyone updated on that as well. I love the snake, she is sweet, But... I do not want to breed a spinner.
Had a fun time, and stopped for a ice cream cone and sushi on the way home.. so Whoo-hoo for today!

Wolfy, sorry I missed seeing you. It was crowded at times and there was soooo much to see at the vendors' tables at the show. I see from your last pic that you got by our table.
Did you get to see Greg Graziani's new booth/tables? He built them himself and they look great and are very practical for a large breeder setting up at different shows!
The "Best Booth" award went to Big Daddys and "Best Snake" went to Greg Graziani - he had some really amazing snakes.
Take care. Hope to see you next time.

Re: Pics from the F.I.R.E. Expo DU warning
Excellent pics! Looks like it was a good show......
However, your first pic "Calico Cresteds" ummmmm those are Bearded Dragons and are not calico.........Appear to be Sandfire line Dragons. Actually look like they might be from Lynn's Bearded Dragons..........Great Pics none the less though.

Re: Pics from the F.I.R.E. Expo DU warning
Alice: I spent quite a bit of time chatting with Micheal Cole, since it was a small show and I wasn't supposed to be buying any new reptiles. LOL.
Nightmare: You are indeed correct sorry, the name of the place I took the pictures is Calico Dragons
Sorry about that misinformation, I should sleep before posting, and thank you for the correction. They are beardies, I haven't a clue why I said cresties. *Rolls eyes at self*

A word of warning to anyone who stopped by this booth, Allan Belcher, the owner of Big Daddy's, recently sold an IBD infected boa to an individual which died three weeks after the purchase. A necropsy was performed and conclusively showed IBD was the cause of death.
Here's one of the BOI threads that has been circulating in the last few days regarding this fiasco
http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...ad.php?t=89963
there is even more info buried in this thread, starting at about post # 420
http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...ad.php?t=75369
This thread may be somewhat confusing, two threads regarding Big Daddy's were combined into this one, so the order of the posts may be confusing.
Hopefully anyone who handled any of his animals washed/disinfected their hands before handling other reptiles.

Re: Pics from the F.I.R.E. Expo DU warning
Ha! I noted that there was not very many people at his table, despite the fact there were lots at the booths to either side, I did not even approach his tables. I petted ONE animal the entire show(unusual for me) and that was a baby black throat who were absolutely the CUTEST things I've ever seen. I wanted to cuddle all of them, just buy all and have them all over.
