    Animal overload!!!!

ok, so today I come home with two new fidler crabs from work, and I find my little lovebird has laid her very first egg. Unfortunately, she has no boyfriend so the egg is infertile, but she sure is having fun being a mommy. lol. So now I am the proud owner of:
    1.1 Fidler crabs
    1.1 Corn snakes
    1.0 Red Ear Slider
    0.1 Peach Faced Lovebird
?.? Fish, Fish and more Fish
    1.1 Betta Splendens
I'm running a zoo here, and I'm thinking my little sugar needs a boyfriend. Is it just me, or is anyone else on the forum suffering from Dolittle Syndrome?

    Re: Animal overload!!!!

My view is that I'll keep providing loving homes for all animals that come my way. They are a lot of work, but I would definitely be lost without them. I say, go for the gusto if you think you can do it

    Re: Animal overload!!!!

We have you beat by about 15, not counting fish. Birds, dogs, cat, frogs, lizard, torts. snakes, millepede, I know I'm forgetting someone. We have a strict routine at home so no one gets overlooked for attention. By the time all dishes are cleaned and filled I'm tired. Wouldn't trade it for the world!!! Then love to go out and care for horses.

Thanks, I found it online somewhere, not sure where though. It's a type of water snake though.

Wow, I guess I have a ways to go yet eh? I think I've owned a little bit of everything though. . . unfortunately, my teeny apartment can only hold so much *sigh* Until then, I guess I'll just have to envy all of you . especially the horses. . . I miss riding .

    Re: Animal overload!!!!

I currently feed over 200 mouths here. Last time I checked I have about 180 or so invertebrates to feed (tarantulas and scorpions...the majority of which are scorpion babies). Then there's the snakes, the geckos, and the cat. I've got several feeder insect colonies, but they're not included in that count.

Hopefully I should be able to get more heat packs and insulated boxes soon..and then I can put up almost all of the scorpion babies for sale.
Check out my gallery! www.schlyne.deviantart.com I am not really active on forums anymore, but I am on facebook.
