Petco frozen
Off the top of their heads can anybody remember what sizes of frozen mice/rats petco sells. I need the closest thing to a rat pink/mouse hopper.

Re: Petco frozen
I believe our petco sold mouse pinkies, fuzzies and adult mice. They also sold adult rats. I can't remember if they sold hoppers, but I don't think so. Not too much selection, but you can always rifle through their selection... if that helps any.

Re: Petco frozen
No they are a bit bigger than hoppers. How old is your bp? I bet it could probably take a small adult mouse.

Re: Petco frozen
If the adult mice are as small as they are here, then you'd probably be ok. First find out what your petco has available, then go from there. I usually just visually gauge the size of the rodent, but I've heard of some people using a string to measure their snake and then using the string to size up rodents at the store.

I would think he could take the Petco adults. They are around 19grams each. He should have no problem...

Re: Petco frozen
Your best bet is to actually phone your local PetCo and ask to speak to the person who handles frozen. They generally have a fridge/freezer with prey for a number of different creatures which includes frozen rats/mice for snakes. There's no way anyone online can tell you what's in stock at your local PetCo on any given day.
