My new Blood addition
This is Sakari, she is my new rescue addition, she is about 4ft and somewhere in the 15-20 lb range. She came to me as a rescue, she has some additude right now from being mishandled and having incorrect husbandry (i'd have additude too!) We will work with her and see what happens.

I just got word this morning that I will be getting a Burm that is very skinny and it's growth has been stunted due to poor care. It's only 7ft and 5 years old is the info I have. Will post when I get him.

Re: My new Blood addition
Beautiful Blood! I'm sure she'll come to appreciate a little TLC. Good luck with her.
And I just wanted to say thank you for helping the helpless! It's wonderful to hear of people taking on big snakes in need.

Re: My new Blood addition
From what little I have read and heard about bloods (mostly from Kara) they are so heavy bodied they have to be handled differently than BP's due to their heavier mass per foot ratios (you can't drape them for instance over your shoulder).
Lovely snake and I'll add my thanks that you do rescue/rehab. It's a wonderful thing!
