    I stopped taking pictures after I bought my two balls since it was it was kind of hard to juggle everything in my hands

    I came home with 2 balls and another little corn

    I agree with Ross, really great looking snakes! Looks like something I would pick out!


    And that cobra is SWEET. If I were going to keep hots....mmmm cobras would be my poison of choice.

    And great pictures....I didn't know they'd have Hots at Tinley! Were they just for display or were they for sale as well? (I'd be a little nervous if just anyone could be walking around with a deli-cup full of rattler or cobra! LOL)

    I think they were just on display.
    I actually didn't think there would be any hots either.
    I thought I read somewhere that hots were not allowed.

    it was a nice treat to see

    The hots come from a small reptile 'zoo' that is based in Lake Forest. They are only for display and educational purpose. I've been to their facility.. it's very nice. They have the largest collection of rattlers on display in any zoo in the country.

    It is illegal to own a hot in IL without a permit. Getting a permit if you aren't running a zoo or something along those lines, I imagine is near impossible.
