    Finally settled in!!!

These guys have finally settled in pretty well, and i snapped a couple pics before they sucked down thier mouse fuzzies. I couldn't be happier with this group, they are all fairly active during the day (the only species I have that) and quite calm too. I can't stop looking at these guys, thier color is amazing, almost like a flat green paint texture. Here is a shot of one of the girls, this pic turned out the best of the ones I took tonight.

Hope you enjoy, thanks for looking.

    Re: Finally settled in!!!

They are a little squirmy when handled, but that should fade with age. They are very alert, and curious of movement, but have never shown any sign of aggression. I've looked into many different arboreal colubrid species for some display animals, and these guys are everything I was looking for: Captive bred, unique, crepuscular or diurnal, beautiful, and calm. I can't wait until they are adults!!

Get it right, a GREEN snake, sheesh!

But really, they are Philodryas baroni. The common name I've seen then referred to most often is Baron's green racer. Here is another thread I started on them a couple weeks ago with more info:
