    piglet my new pastel (duw)

hey yall . i finally had time to get a few pics of my new pastel ball python . i've had him for 4 weeks now and he is settling in very nicely . i decided to name him piglet . he weighed in at 117 grams 5 days ago and is right at 19 inches long . he is just an eating machine ! seems like he is always hungry . i'm feeding him every 5 days for now with my own home grown rat pups . in fact he is trying to figure out which end of a rat to start on as i type . i am quite pleased with him . so with no further adue , here he is .

hope yall enoy the pics .

I'm still confused between the two but is that pretty little fella considered a "Jungle-Pastel"?

Re: piglet my new pastel (duw)

it is confusing . i think he would be a jungle as he has a very busy pattern . i've seen alot of pastels that have a fairly normal looking patern and i think that is the difference . i'm still pretty new to this morph thing so i'm not posative . i'm sure there are others here that can confirm or correct this .

and thanks he is aweful pretty i think

That would IMO be considered a pastel "jungle".

    Very nice one too.

None of them can ever figure out what end to start with. It must be in the genes.

There's no such thing as a "Jungle Pastel" you've got it backwards ... The original mutation was named "Pastel Jungle" by Kevin McCurley at NERD 1997 ... Almost 10 years later, the mutation is commonly called a "Pastel" leaving the "Jungle" off out of lazyness possibly? ... All Pastels are "Pastel Jungles" and they are an awesome mutation for sure!

Are you calling BP owners lazy? Hey Adam, I just noticed you hit the three green dot stage. Does that make you some sort of super hero, or possibly a demi-God?
