stuck poo.....
Ok I just fed my large male (the one who was thought to be female) a large mouse and well it must have pooed when he killed it and now the poo is stuck in his mouth. I have no clue what to do ... I cant touch him because if you even open the cage after he feeds he starts making hacking sounds and acts like he is going to regurge.
will this mouse poo work it's self out or will I have to wait for a few days and remove it my self?
thanks for any advice.

Re: stuck poo.....
I dont feed in a different cage or place due to Atlas (the one with the poo poo mouth) and Baby having stress problems. Baby will always regurge if you pick him up or move him after he eats, and with Atlas's threats of yacking I would hate to clean that up. With mouse prices riseing and rats getting way to much $$ I need them to eat and keep it down.

Re: stuck poo.....
I've never moved my boys to feed them. They seem to be more comfortable eating in the tank. As for the poo, it should work out ok.
One of my snakes got whizzed on by a dying rat and I panicked and tried to wash him off, and as a result, my own snake poo'd on me! right after eating!
I didn't know they could do that......
So, i agree, just wait it out and see what happens.
Oh yea, by the way, I'm new here!

It won't be a problem - and no, I never remove any of my snakes for feeding either.

Didn't I read on another thread that you house together? Are you saying you house together AND feed together?
