    Blood in Water Bowl

no not actual blood as in sticky stuff .....

but a pic of my male Hercules a couple of days before he is due to shed

As you can see its big enough he cant tip it , and he sometimes likes to sit in there for a few hours at a time before he is due to shed which is good cause it is hell trying to work on a Blood with a bad shed ..lol

I will post some more pics soon after he has shed. That water box is about 20 Inches long to give you an idea of size he currently is.

Thanks Judy yeah I am overdue some pics of him he is looking a bit dull and that pic was taken through clearish perspex door.

I had him out today as I was getting the wee boys room carpeted and the carpet fitter spent half an hour in awe as he was fascinated if somewhat scared when I took him into the room he was fitting. lol

he really is a docile big fellow Hercules and a pleasure to have out even though he likes to hiss at me when I pick him up lol

Yeah Smulkin it never ceases to amaze me how the colours develop and change , even his head sometimes is slate grey at night and almost black in the morning.

Shnak_n_star , they are often decribed as being tempermental but not usually dangerous. I find them to be a bit of challenge but with time and patience they (in my experience anyway) are generally pretty good natured.

If you get them young and work with them there is a very good chance they will tame down nicely as mine have.

Their bad rep is not a true reflection of their actual temperment IMO

    Re: Blood in Water Bowl

that blood... is well....beautifull! My baby doesn't seem to have color like any other blood I've seen. (not a good thing to me) She seems to be very dull and almost boring with the colors... but bloods are known for gaining/changing color as they get older right?

    I want your blood! muhahahaha
