    First handling (pics)

Well, I finally was able to hold my new BP after a very long wait. It's been 13 days (Yes, I've been counting LOL) I tried taking him out a few times and he actually moved backwards into the top hole of his hide (very funny). After much hissing and carrying on, I went for it. He was nice and calm once he was out. I finally picked out a name for this bad boy too. I chose Gambit. For those of you who follow the X-Men (Marvel comics) stories you may recognize it. Gambit is a pretty cool character and he's from Louisiana (just like my snake). He's also been known as one of the Death Riders......which is what the rats refer to him (snake) as on Thursday nights. LOL Also, he does have that "X" marking on his side, so I had no choice and the name fits him well. Hope you enjoyed the pics. Oops now I need to change the signature. Yay!
    My favorite shot.

The "X" marking. Looks better when he's stretched out more.

    Re: First handling (pics)

    Tina,
He looks great. By the way, his mother's name is Storm, from the X-men comics. I actually have many of my snakes in my collection named after X-men. I also have a huge collection of X-men comics. I started collecting them in 1986. So, even though I am a little biased, I love the name, and I'm glad he is doing great for you.
    Sincerely,
    Tim Bailey

Hey Tim, wanna feel old? You've been collecting comics longer than I've been alive (Well only a year I guess )

Gambit is gorgeous. I like his toffee-like colour, very rich and vibrant! I also love the first shot, he's like "Hey you! what's up!"
