Re: Question about keeping live crickets

You can keep them in a plastic tub (like a rubbermaid or whatever) with holes drilled in the lid for airflow. I put some cardboard egg crate (paper towel tubes work too) for them to climb on, and they'll eat anything. If you want easy, just get some of the cricket total bites at petsmart or wherever.. they're little jello looking cubes of food/water all in one.

Re: Question about keeping live crickets

If you've got a smaller amount, you can also keep them in one of the special KK cricket things. However, crickets smaller than 1/4" can get out of the slats, so I ended up putting holes in a tall steralite and keeping them in there.

You can also feed them carrots, potatoes, or apples for food/moisture.
