howabout jesse/jessie? can be a boy or girl name. or you can name it whatever you want and rename it when you find out the gender if you want.

Wink Re: how do i name a baby beardie if it's unsexed?

When Beardies are young they all look like females because they lack the "equipment downstairs" to show the "bulges". When they are about seven to nine inches long (snout to vent, not including their tail that is). I hold them perpendicular to my arm and let them rest in my hand, with their tail up on my arm. I then gently lift their tail about ninety degrees up, not to hard though. If you see one big bulge dead center up on the tail, just past the vent, you have a female. If on the other hand you see two bulges just past the vent, you have a male. Be very gentle not to kink the tail when pulling up on it because it is connected to their backbone of course. I hope I helped in some way.
I love my Bearded Children a lot.

My female Pebbles all worked up at feeding time. Her citrus and lavender colors really show when she is excited.

She is a Citrus Orange Glow Beardie. I also have Sunbursts and Hypo Lavenders.

Re: how do i name a baby beardie if it's unsexed?

That for help with sexing. So what you are trying say is I have to wait until it's almost full grown to sex it... ok Next issue I want to post pictures of my beardie when he/she is done shedding. It appears to have a tiger stripe trait or some red running down both sides of its belly.

Also.. who is acclimation for beardies? Getting used to its environment.
How long before it should be handled?

    Tybalt: that beardie is gorgeous!
