    Recent Field work with apprentices

First Griffin and I were up at Winslow's fathers property in Mass. We came across a good group of amphibians:
    Northern Leopard Frog

    Griffin on the hunt:

American Bull Frog Female Green frog:

    Pickerel Frog:

Then Griffin and I took off for a local spot with my two and a half year old neice, Ashlynn.

Kids had a blast and we found
    an American Toad:

    And a little Dusky Salamander:

Hope you all enjoyed, I'm sure there will be more to come.
    Thanks for looking,
    Rusty

Ohhhh I love toads! I swear that says something about a person...I love toads and I think goats and donkeys are the coolest farm animals. My husband says that just makes me a wierd-o LOL.

Wonderful pics Rusty. What a great gift to give young children that money can't buy...your time and a lovely trip in the woods to appreciate Mother Nature's bounty.
