How long in a car?

I'm picking up a baby cornsnake tomorrow, and my mom insists on making a stop before we get home. How long can Cornsnakes go in a car without dying? The temperature tomorrow will be high 81. Would that be fine?

If its not a long stop. But the temp in the car could reach over 100 with that outside temp. Be Super Careful.

No that will get him way to cold. Could you wait in the car with the ac on till your mom got done.

Maybe, but JW, if it is in a snake bag, can it be in my pocket, so it doesn't get as hot, because I can bring it out periodically to get cooler if too hot?

I actually had someone suggest that to me today... if I have to get out of the car, put the snake and the snake bag in your pocket or purse. At least that way it won't fry. I'd never really thought about it before, but if you were wearing cargo pants, or carried a bag, no one would have to know.

Hahahahaha. I took him around with me, he was too big for my pocket. I showed him off to everyone at the store. Now he's in his 2 and a half foot tub that I got for two bucks.
