    Gunnar (new pics)

Just had to take some shots of Mikey's puppy Gunnar who is about 5 months old now and a real sweetie. Now if we could only teach her to stop barking at the big male breeder rats. She tries to grab their tails when they hang out of their wire cage and they in turn like to wait patiently to nip her on the nose LOL.

Gunnar posing with her favorite disgusting half chewed rawhide....

Mmmmmm orange rubber squeeky toys are sooooooo much fun!....

    Re: Gunnar (new pics)

Thanks Robin. She's still a big silly puppy but she's showing a really strong natural protective streak especially where Mikey is concerned. We've got her sitting on command and she knows that if a child approaches her when we are out walking, she's to either automatically sit or lay down without being told....she's pretty good on that one. Right now we are working on walking at heel and breaking her bad habit of wanting to nip/lick/chew at everyone's feet. I swear she's got some sort of foot fetish, she will not leave feet alone and constantly trips everyone or is just plain irritating about that. Any ideas what to do?

Oh my!! Gunnar is just adorable. I'm with you Robin, it makes me want another puppy. Of course then I think about the two I already have and I'm good.

That's great she's doing so well for you Jo. She's a lucky pup to have found a home with your family. What's a few foot nibbles among family? lol. Maybe you'll have to resort to combat boots in the house. What about coating your feet with hot sauce? LOL! I've got a visual of you soaking everyone's feet. Sorry I think I need some sleep.
