Remember that old film about the python and the tiger???

Many of us have seen this video, or portions of it:

    http://media.putfile.com/Python-vs-Tiger

And wondered...is it real? How did they film it? How did it really end???

    Well...here's the answers!

    http://blog.modernmechanix.com/2006/...bs&Qis=XL#qdig

Do keep in mind thiat this is VERY old OLD school! So try not to be offended at some of the stuff you read. This is back in the 1930's, after all. And the artical calls it a "rock python" but it's clearly a retic.

Anyhow...I found this to be a fascinating read and thought some of you might as well!

Re: Remember that old film about the python and the tiger???

I have never seen this before, very intresting I was suprised to read that had the python, been well rested and not attacked after a strugle with food that it would have killed the tiger with ease. To me Tigers seem like one of the best preditors on earth, speed, agility and strenth make for a excellent killing machine, Verry intresting that the python made it also, I hate to say it but I was actually rooting for it, seems like it took a bit of a beating there. at least they both made it, shame they ended up in a zoo though.
