kenyan sand boa vs. rough scaled sand boa

Ok so I've done research on both of these guys...thanks to all of you that assisted me in my previous thread on small boas.

The only problem I have is which one should I get? I went to a Reptile show July 12, and saw different variations (and got to handle one) of the sand boas...regular and anery...and they were both fairly affordable and adorable. I also saw and handled a rough scaled sand boa that one of the dealers had (very cute too). I didn't actually purchase any though b/c I figured I would let that experience marinate in my mind before I actually decide on one pick one up and take home. My only problem is...I CAN'T NARROW MY DECISION DOWN!

Is one snake easier to care for/ handle than the other. I noticed the rough scaled was a little nippy when I was handling it, but aren't most young boas like that? Which boa would you guys recommend?

I like the Kenyan. I have liked them forever

I keep both species. Roughscaleds are a little more high strung. The kenyans are a bit easier, but both are wonderful snakes.

Oreo, our Kenyan, actually has a section of down to her tail that is textured like the pics of April's rough. I'd have to say, that if that IS what a roughscaled is like, I prefer the Kenyan MUCH more than the other. I don't like the bumpy texture or look to that part of her skin.

Yeah the roughscaled has scales with pronounced keels towards the tail. I think it's cool.. kind of feels sandpaper-ish.
