    Breeding JCPs

    i'm planning on breeding my JCPs this winter. i was wondering if any1 has had personal experience with breeding these snakes? i want to do natural, maternal incubation, i know the the humidity has to be up and the temp has to be arround 86* is there anythins else i should know??

    I bred carpets for many years ... never did maternal incubation though ... my personal opinion is that it's better for the female to take the eggs and incubate them.

    do you recomend any spicific incubators??

    I've always built my own ... The book "The Reproductive Husbandry of Pythons and Boas" by Richard A. Ross has a good blueprint for a home made incubator ... but I'm sure others could recommend a good commercial system.

    D. Bartlett's little paperback book on general snake care has some great step by step instructions for incubators... and of course, there's always the all powerful 'google'.
