We used to say her mom was blind and her dad was a raccoon.

Re: Tessie
She looks great Jen! You haven't let her run to fat and that's so key to keeping older cats healthy into their senior years. Has she started to do the old cat yeowl yet?
Basuca we had two cats that have passed away now. Barney the neutered male was at least 16 years old (hard to say as we adopted him as an adult so he could have been older). Pusster Kitty the spayed female was 18 (we had her from when she was weaned so her age is exact). We've had friends over the years that both had cats that lived to age 24. Funny enough they were both female chocolate point Siamese cats.

Re: Tessie
Nope, she doesn't yeowl yet. The other 3 do when they're looking for each other or want to play (it's a "come play with me" call). Tessie's quiet, she only meows if it's necessary, and when she does I get an earfull. She's really funny and goofy, she runs around the house all poofed up (like you can see in a few pics), chases the other cats and plays with her toy mice. She's the biggest lap cat and loves to cuddle with her motor going as loud as possible.
My mom had a chocolate point siamese, he lived to 18 years old. He was Tessie's best friend. I think she's got another 2-4 years left in her, without a doubt.
