Went field herping and found a nice sized snapper by Lake Erie. Hurt like crazy picking it up because of a workplace injury but it was cool to find. Reason the quality of the pictures is poor too. I was in some pain taking these pics trying to move...Enjoy-

Wow, that's a biggun!!
I live right by Lake Erie (well, about half an hour away.) I am told that your part of the lake (in Ohio) is much prettier and cleaner than it is around our area near Buffalo. White sand beaches? Here it is more like broken beer bottles and gravel!

That's one big snapper! Took him on in 1 on 1 huh....bet you schooled him, those guys are slow and don't have much skill with three pointers and free throws.

Haha. I was suprised how long this guys neck was. When I picked him up all he did was kick hard with his back legs and scratched me alot. I was more worried about those hind legs on him then the mouth.

Amazing pictures Andrew! I love snappers....they look so ancient and have such attitudes LOL.

I just realized you are in Toledo too! We just moved here a few months back and are in the west end of the city. So far so good though getting used to city life is a bit of a culture shock after years in the wilds of northern MI.
