Baby bunny??
She left her hole and there was 1 little bunny left. I realize that he may die but I'm going to give him a shot. He's a little guy about 4-5" long. A full coat of hair and everything. I got him some greens and food in an aquarium as well as a few hides. He's just hiding now. He appears to be injured a bit. I don't want to let him go, it will be a sure death otherwise. I'll let everyone know how he does. Took out part of it because its irrelavent

Re: Baby bunny??
Very cute and sad at the same time.
Unfortunately Jake, all of the wild type bunnies I have ever tried to save die. They just dont seem to do well adapting to captivity.. its the stress.... not neccessarily stress you are creating because baby wild bunnies do seem to stress alot and dont seem to adapt to captivity well. The best thing I can advise you to do, is find a local wild life rescuer through fish and game in your state ASAP, for some reason they seem to have better success rates than most other ppl.

I have a few people I am waiting for a call back already. Everything I read says to keep them a warm spot and water available. We'll see if this little guy even makes it through the night. Doesn't seem to be doing too bad. He's hinding out in the sock now and I managed to get him to drink a bit of water. Only time can tell on this
Thanks for the help

Re: Baby bunny??
Such a cute little baby....I hope it works out for ya. What will you do if he survives and begins to grow. Gonna keep him as a pet? Or release it when it's old enough?

Depends. If my allergies start getting better, I will probably keep it but I'm not getting my hopes up. Whenever I think something good is going to happen it always turns around.
